Nissan Armada Canada
The Nissan Armada is a full sized pickup truck manufactured by Nissan since 2004, it shares various components with the Nissan Titan pickup truck, built on the F-alpha platform also used in the Pathfinder and Nissan Xterra. The Armada is manufactured in Canton, Mississippi at Nissan's assembly plant, along side the Nissan Quest minivan and Nissan Altima. A fully loaded luxury version of the Armada is sold as the Infiniti QX56 and is the first Infiniti built in the United States. Some Armadas are built to handle E85 ethanol as a flex fuel making them the first flex fuel Japanese truck sold in Canada until Toyota launched the V8 UR engine in the 2010 Toyota Tundra and Sequoia.
The Nissan Armada has an impressive 9,100 lbs of towing capacity, equipped 5.6L DOHC engine with 317 HP and 385 lb-ft of torque coupled with a 5-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode, the 2012 Armada in Canada includes All-Mode 4WD system with 2-speed transfer case, 4-wheel active brake limited slip and Traction Control System (TCS), which includes 4-wheel anti lock ABS disc brakes with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. The Armada is available in two models a Platinum 7 seater and Armada Platinum 8 seater, they both share premium digital Bose audio system with twelve speakers, standard Bluetooth system and rearview camera.
